THE LAW OF THE REPUBLIC OF GEORGIA on Introducing the Cabinet of Ministers and the changes and amendments to the Constitution of the Republic of Georgia related to the issue

The Supreme Council of the Republic of Georgia decrees:

II. Due to the introduction of the Cabinet of Ministers as the executive authority in the Republic of Georgia, to make the following changes and amendments to the Constitution of the Republic of Georgia:

(…)

4.  To word article 123 as follows:

“The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Georgia consists of the Prime Minister, his/her deputies and the Ministers of the Republic of Georgia.  The composition of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Georgia shall be determined by the Supreme Council of the Republic of Georgia, upon nomination by the President of the Republic of Georgia.

The chairmen of the councils of ministers of the Abkhaz ASSR and Adjara Autonomous Republic shall be included in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Georgia, according to their position.”

III. This law shall come into effect upon its promulgation.
