COMMISSION ON ECONOMIC RESTORATION IN SOUTH OSSETIA PROTOCOL OF MEETING

1. To prepare a draft intergovernmental Agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Georgia identifying the volume of funding in the form of long-term preferential loans for restoring the economy of South Ossetia.

2. The entire scope of the construction and rehabilitation activities shall be undertaken by the Republic of Georgia.

Initiative of ministries and agencies of the Russian Federation and the Government of North Ossetia to provide practical assistance in the rehabilitation shall be encouraged.

3. To ask the Command of the Peacekeeping Forces to develop and implement necessary measures to ensure the security of workers involved in the design and construction and rehabilitation activities as well as other types of activities in South Ossetia.

4. For implementing immediate activities, to consider it necessary for the Governments of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Georgia to allocate funds in the amount of 500 million rubles within a month. South Ossetia shall be considered the customer.
