THE AD HOC COMMITTEE ON FACILITATION OF THE VOLUNTEER RETURN OF REFUGEES AND
IDPS AS A RESULT OF THE GEORGIAN-OSSETIAN CONFLICT TO THE PLACES OF THEIR
FORMER PERMANENT RESIDENCE

issues of nationalities.
Agenda of the meeting:
1.
Information of the Georgian and the South-Ossetian sides on the conducted work
for solution of reasons, impeding the more effective process of return.
2.
On place and date of the next meeting of the ad hoc committee of the JCC.
I.
The floor was taken by:
from the Georgian side – Gambashidze A. (text is
attached);
from the South-Ossetian side – Jioev M.K. (text is
attached).
The
floor was taken by: Kabolov, Korotkov, Kulumbegov, Silvestri, Machabeli, and
Khundadze.
It was decided:
1.
To take note of the sides’ information.
2.
In case of necessity, in the frame of the ad hoc committee to conduct bilateral
and multilateral consultations on the issues of return of refugees and IDPs to
the places of their former residence.
3.
To continue practice of meeting of the members of the ad hoc committee with the
refugees and IDPs.
4.
Till the next meeting shall be prepared information by
the sides on proposals, introduced at the present meeting.
II.
The floor was taken by: Kabolov, Gambashidze, Korotkov, Jioev, Kulumbegov.
It was decided:
1.
To organize the next meeting of the ad hoc committee in May of the current
year. The place and the date of the meeting will be agreed additionally.
