DECISION OF HEADS OF MEMBER STATES OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF INDEPENDENT STATES On settlement of the Conflict in Abkhazia, Georgia

The Council of Heads of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States,

confirming all documents earlier adopted by the Council of Heads of States of the Commonwealth of Independent States on settlement of the conflict in Abkhazia, Georgia, first of all the Memorandum on Maintaining Peace and Stability in the Commonwealth of Independent States of 10 February 1995, Resolution On Measures for the Settlement of the Conflict in Abkhazia, Georgia, of  19 January 1996, and the Statement of the Council of Heads of States of 19 September 2003, reaffirming the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia,

decides:

1. To call the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States to rigorously fulfill provisions of the above documents and decisions of the Council of Heads of the States of the Commonwealth of Independent States on the settlement of the conflict in Abkhazia, Georgia.

2. Member States of the Commonwealth to reaffirm that they would refrain from any unilateral acts and actions that would encroach upon the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia.
