ANNEX 2 TO THE DECISION OF
THE COUNCIL OF
HEADS OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF THE INDEPENDENT STATES, May 26, 1995.
Forms of participation of the states-members of the
Commonwealth in the settlement of the conflicts in Abkhazia, The
1. Assignment
in the composition of the peacekeeper forces of the engineer-rifle units with
the respective equipment (divisions, companies, battalions).
2. Assignment
of the military observers in the composition of the Staff of the Peacekeeping
forces (total number – till 45 persons).
3. Assignment
of the officers-operators, specialists on the types of troops and services in
the composition of the Staff of the Peacekeeping forces (total number – till 20
persons).
4. To
provide for the repairing of the equipment (AT, BT) and ammunition there is a
need of the repairing units (division, company).
5. To
provide for the transportation of material and technical supplies, are
necessary automobile transportation divisions (3-4 divisions).
6. To
obtain credible intelligence data are necessary intelligence units (till the
intelligence company).
7. to provide for the reliable management of all the units of
the peacekeeping forces, especially in the radio network of USW, are necessary
communication units (till the company of communication) and for the repairing
of the communication means are necessary – the division with the repair shop
M3-M2 or ATO-U.
8. To
provide for restoration work (bridges, roads) and de-mining of the location are
necessary engineer-mining units (about 3 or 4).
9. To
provide for reduction of the sanitary damages, there are necessary medical
units (till the medical company) and doctors (surgeons, dermatologists,
dentists, epidemiologist with the portable lab PSEL)/
10. Participation
in the funding of conducted operation, in the form of share, to fund the
current expenditures.
11. Participation
in the conflict settlement in the form of provision of the agreed material and
technical assistance to the peacekeepers.
