DECISION OF THE SUPREME COUNCIL OF THE REPUBLIC OF SOUTH OSSETIA on holding the national-wide voting (referendum) in the Republic of South Ossetia

In accordance to Articles 4, 5, 9, 14 and 17 of the law “on Nation-wide Voting (Referendum)” of the Republic of South Ossetia, the Supreme Council of the Republic of South Ossetia decides:

1. To set Sunday, 9 January 1992 as the date of nation-wide voting (referendum) in the Republic of South Ossetia

2. To put 2 issues on the Referendum:

a) Would you agree the Republic of South Ossetia to be independent?

b) Would you agree with the decision of the Supreme Council of the Republic of South Ossetia of 1 September 1991 on unification with Russia?
