Following further discussions between EUMM and MoD of GEORGIA, paragraphs 2.3 to 2.9 inclusive, of the PROVISIONAL ARRANGEMENT FOR THE EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION BETWEEN THE EUROPEAN UNION MONITORING MISSION AND THE MINISTRY OF DEFENCE OF GEORGIA are amended to read as follows:

2.3 Representatives of the EUMM will be granted access to all permanent dislocations of MoD with 24 hour prior notification.

2.4 Representatives of EUMM will be granted access to any unit within the area laid down in para 2.1 with at least 4 hour’ prior notification.

2.5 Outside the areas laid down in para 2.1, representatives of the EUMM will be granted access to Battalion sized or greater, temporary dislocations of the MoD, once they have been in place for a period longer than 12 months with 24 hour prior notification.

2.6 EUMM shall not use photographic equipment of any kind within any MoD establishment, permanent or temporary without the permission of the local commander.

2.7 EUMM shall not use any kind of Global Positioning Equipment, in order to precisely identify unit locations, within any MoD establishment.

2.8 Any technical information gathered under this agreement will be CLASSIFIED, and treated accordingly. Only information of a -general nature will be released to Member States.

2.9 Whilst visiting locations, representatives of Georgian Armed Forces should only provide information to EUMM that they are comfortable with divulging, in the spirit of openness and transparency.
