Decision of the Council of Heads of State of the
Commonwealth of Independent States to
extend the stay of the Collective Peacekeeping Forces in the conflict zone in Abkhazia, Georgia
The Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of
Independent States has decided:
1. To extend the stay of the Collective Peacekeeping
Forces in the conflict zone in Abkhazia, Georgia, to 31 December 2000 or until
such time as one of the parties to the conflict calls for an end to the
operation.
2. This decision shall enter into force on the date
of its signature.
Done at Moscow on 21 June 2000, in one original copy in the Russian language.
The original copy shall be deposited with the Executive Committee of the
Commonwealth of Independent States, which shall send a certified copy to each
State which has signed this decision.
